Tank Pontoons

 

 

Aluminium Floating Pontoon REEFLOT TM For Oil And Oil Product Tanks

The pontoon operates in vertical cylindrical tanks with 8500- 60700 mm diameter (tank volume is 300 – 50 000 m3).

The pontoon operating medium is light and heavy petroleum product (gasoline, oil and others), aromatic hydrocarbons (benzol, xylele and others), resolvents.

REEFLOTTM serves for:

  • decrease of evaporation of oil product kept in tank (efficiency of evaporation decrease – mot less than 99% )
  • prevention of kept product oxidazing
  • improvement of fire-flame-proof conditions of tank operation
  • decrease of environmental pollution with oil product fumes
  • better working conditions for operating personnel

REEFLOTTM design for tank:

  • manufactured of aluminium wires and rolling sheets (materials used: AMg3, AD31, AD31T1)
  • pontoon bolting in tank is stainless steel 12H18N10T
  • easy to assemble and dismantle due to bolting joints, that allows to conduct assembling and replacement of any part of pontoon during maintenance, or complete dismantling through service manholes available in tanks
  • eliminate pontoon misalignment, wedging up and rotation during operation
  • provide possibility of two options of penstock: smooth and hard
  • provide floating coupling of floats to protect construction integrity from different perturbing effects of product (air or gas locks)

Reserve of buoyancy is not less than 100% of pontoon weight. Service life of pontoon inside tank is not less than 20 years. Guarantee period for pontoon operation is not less than 5 years.
